Solitaire Fun (com.scottcoxdev.papabeargames.solitairefun)
Effective October 17, 2026
This policy explains what information Papa Bear Games LLC ("we", "us") collects when you play Solitaire Fun (the "Game"), how it is used, and the choices you have. If you have a question, email support@scottcoxdev.com.
Information we collect
Game progress and settings. The game you are in the middle of, the deals you have played, and your settings (such as Draw 1 or Draw 3) are stored only on your phone. We don't receive them. Uninstalling the Game removes them.
Papa Bear account (optional). You can play without an account. If you sign in, we collect your email address and a password. Your password is stored only as a one-way hash, so it is never visible to us. Your account is given a random user ID. If you choose Sign in with Google, Google tells us your Google account's email address and an ID for your Google account, and confirms the email is yours; we don't receive your Google password, name, photo or contacts. The same account works in every Papa Bear game.
Game statistics and rewards. If you have an account, we store the number of games you have played and won, your achievements, your gold and the table themes you have, along with when your account was created and last updated, so they follow you to a new device. If you play without an account, these stay on your phone.
Leaderboard name. If you have an account, your number of games won appears on the Game's leaderboard next to a name. Until you choose a name, you are shown as "Player" and four numbers. If you choose a name, we store it and other players can see it on the leaderboard. Your email address is never shown to other players. You can change it at any time with "Change my name" on the leaderboard screen.
Diagnostic logs. If you have an account, the Game may record technical events, such as errors during sign-in or saving, linked to your user ID. We use these only to find and fix problems.
Usage and crash information. The Game sends anonymous information about how it is used: when it is opened and closed and for how long, games started, finished or left unfinished, ads shown, crash and error reports, and the Game version. These are tied to a random ID the Game creates when it is first installed, not to your account, email or advertising ID, and are sent whether or not you are signed in. We use them to fix crashes and to see which parts of the Game players enjoy.
Advertising information. The Game shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, and information about ad interactions to show, measure and limit ads, and to prevent fraud. Depending on your choices and location, ads may be personalized.
We do not collect your real name (unless you type it as your leaderboard name), contacts, photos, precise location, or payment information. The Game has no purchases with real money; gold is earned only by playing.
How we use information
- To show ads, which keep the Game free.
- If you have an account: to let you sign in, and to email you a one-time code when you sign up, change your email or ask to reset your password. We do not send marketing email.
- If you have an account: to save and restore your game statistics, achievements, gold and themes across devices, and to show your leaderboard name and games won to other players.
- To find and fix crashes and other problems, and to see which parts of the Game players enjoy.
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We rely on the following providers, which process information on our behalf under their own privacy terms:
- Google AdMob: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
- Google Sign-In, if you choose to sign in with Google: policies.google.com/privacy
- Microsoft Azure, which hosts your account, game statistics, diagnostic logs and usage and crash information, and sends the emails with sign-up and password reset codes: privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement
Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where these providers operate. Data is encrypted in transit.
Your choices
- Ads personalization: you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your Android settings (Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads).
- Consent: where required by law, the Game asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown.
- Account deletion: if you have one, you can delete your Papa Bear account and its data at any time, in the Game (Menu > Account > Delete Account) or on the web. See Delete your account.
Retention
Progress stored on your phone stays until you reset it in Settings or uninstall the Game. We keep your account information and game statistics for as long as your account exists. Diagnostic logs are deleted after 90 days. Usage and crash information is kept for up to 90 days; because it isn't linked to your account, deleting your account doesn't affect it. When you delete your account, it is disabled and you are signed out right away, and 30 days later your account, statistics, rewards, leaderboard name and diagnostic logs are erased from our database for good. Signing in again during those 30 days cancels the deletion. If you play without an account, nothing about you is kept on our servers except the anonymous usage and crash information above. Advertising data held by Google is kept according to Google's retention settings.
Children
The Game is a general audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, email support@scottcoxdev.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and for significant changes we will notify you in the Game.
